This is a point I am reinforcing with all the grades I teach.

Examples:

Quelle est ta couleur préférée? Ma couleur préférée est le bleu. (Coleur est féminin)

Quel est ton sport préféré? Mon sport préféré est la danse. (Sport est masculin)

Quelles sont tes mets préférés? Mes mets préférés sont le spaghetti avec de la sauce tomate, le sushi et le steak. (Un met)

I have added a new section to the website called online lessons. These are videos focusing on grammar points that can be used as clarification, to reinforce concepts or to learn new ones.

If you are unsure about a concept find the section in the videos that talk about what you are unsure of.

There are many helpful resources online!

If you have trouble with any concepts please tell me your concerns or ask me about it so I can address them.

If you feel you need additional help other than the time provided in class this website, youtube and other French websites are GREAT resources!! FSL Toolbox is another great one!

I thought this was a great image to demonstrate critical thinking and what we try to develop in our Students:

I have just added 3 new pages to the website.

The first two are under Edu. Music.
I have added “Les Fables de la Fontaine” (Little poetic stories that teach morals and lessons) and “Comptines Classiques” (These are classic children’s songs almost like nursery rhymes).

The third is the TV show “Madeline”, it’s about a young girl at a boarding school in Paris.
