The grade 1 classes are currently learning the song “Jouez au hockey” by Jacquot for the winter concert.
The lyrics are posted below the video.

We have done several songs about fall in the grade 1 French class. We’ve learned about the changes in weather, in nature, with people, with animals and different cultural celebrations.
Here is a song I’ve shown them a few times. This one is not in their poem book but is definitely worth another listen!
I have also added 3 songs to the educational music page about body parts, colours and fruits and a traditional french canadian song called Le ziguezon zinzon on the modern music page.

I’ve just added 6 new modern songs and music videos to the Music: Modern section : Colonel Reyel- Celui, Tal- Rien n’est parfait, Corneille- Parce qu’on vient de loin, Coeur de pirate- Comme des enfants, Corneille – Des Pères, des Hommes et des Frères (feat. La Fouine), Canardo- M’en Aller (feat. Tal).
I’ve also changed the order of the videos.

Hello and welcome to my website!
My name is Mme. Girouard. I am currently a grade 4 and 5 French Core teacher at Captain R Wilson and a grade 1 French immersion teacher in the afternoons at École Forest Trail School.
