We have done several songs about fall in the grade 1 French class. We’ve learned about the changes in weather, in nature, with people, with animals and different cultural celebrations.
Here is a song I’ve shown them a few times. This one is not in their poem book but is definitely worth another listen!
I have also added 3 songs to the educational music page about body parts, colours and fruits and a traditional french canadian song called Le ziguezon zinzon on the modern music page.

The grade one students have already seen their colours, their numbers to 15 and basic sentences like: Quel age as-tu? J’ ai ___ ans. Comment ca va? Ca va __(bien, mal, tres bien, comme-ci comme ca)___, Je m’appelle _______.
We are currently going through the changes in fall, the 5 senses and classroom objects.
The students will be taking home their duotangs this friday with all their poems. Please have them recite as many poems as they can!
Thursday is an optional day to dress up. There will also be a Halloween dance in the morning.
I have also added a new song to the modern music page called Jour de paix and a song to count to 20 on the music educational page.

I’ve just added 6 new modern songs and music videos to the Music: Modern section : Colonel Reyel- Celui, Tal- Rien n’est parfait, Corneille- Parce qu’on vient de loin, Coeur de pirate- Comme des enfants, Corneille – Des Pères, des Hommes et des Frères (feat. La Fouine), Canardo- M’en Aller (feat. Tal).
I’ve also changed the order of the videos.
